Keyword density is no longer important and you should stop any and all strategies aiming at stuffing keywords into your content. As SEOs we always want to understand the impact of site changes. Yet analyzing the data is challenging, especially in an enterprise environment with frequent site pushes and page updates. One of the biggest challenges is tracking when the change happened, what exactly was the change and what other changes might have occurred which would impact the analysis. Dig through your customer communications to find additional, actively used keywords. Talk to your customer service people to find out what customers are asking about (in their words). SEO does take time, money and effort. The fears that SEO is too complicated, technical, gimmicky and involve possible penalties are common misconceptions people new to SEO have. Once you learn more about SEO yourself, you’ll become more comfortable and confident to implement your own strategy or work closely with an agency. Does this really matter? I would say yes.

I know some SEO consultants will make you believe they possess magical powers and only they can optimize your website, but don’t listen to them.
